My new Blog

After numerous complaints from my Director Of Elections (who fears that I am getting left behind when it comes to technology) I have decided to start blogging.

The final straw came this morning when I read in the Irish Times that this is the way forward. If those luddites are on-board then it must be time to catch the train.

My intention is that I will do a post every week or so. I want my posts to be of interest, and hopefully provide an insight into what it's like to be involved in politics at a local level.

Today is reasonably busy, but I've managed to put away an hour to make the required changes to the website. I am off down to Dunshaughlin in the South of Meath later on tonight for a branch meeting there. It'll be a late one and I expect to get home around 11pm. I'll get an hour then to prepare for our monthly Area meeting tomorrow, which promises to be lively. We've had big problems with the water supply in East Meath over the last 10 days, and I'll be trying to get some answers as to why it took six days to rectify the problem.

If you pardon the cliche, "watch this space".

Comments:
